Job Summary

We are seeking an organised and efficient Senior Administration Officer to support our Community Services team.

The ideal candidate will play a key part in delivering administrative support, including managing office administration tasks, supporting recruitment processes, and providing IT assistance.

  • Act as the initial point of contact for stakeholders, handling enquiries and correspondence.
  • Manage office administration tasks including reception, data entry, filing, archiving, mail, and petty cash.
  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training coordination, and performance appraisal processes.
  • Undertake rostering, NDIS billing and payroll functions, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Provide IT support and assist with system training for new staff.
  • Maintain registers for incidents, complaints, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure vehicle and WHS compliance records are maintained.
Key Responsibilities
  • Previous experience in an administration role, ideally in community or health services.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office) and confident data management abilities.
  • High-level written and verbal communication skills.
  • The ability to manage competing deadlines independently and within a team.
  • A valid QLD Driver's license and a valid, or ability to successfully apply for, NDIS Worker Screening Clearance and Blue Card.
  • Desirable: Experience in community services, disability or mental health support environments, and/or tertiary qualifications in a related field.
