Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with disabilities to achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives.

About the Role

  • Providing support to clients in accordance with their individual needs and plans
  • Assisting clients with daily living activities, such as eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming
  • Providing transportation assistance to clients
  • Providing respite care to clients and their families
  • Providing overnight/sleepover care
  • Assisting with medication administration, ensuring that all necessary policies and procedures are followed
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date records of clients' care plans and progress

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of high school or equivalent qualification
  • Certificate 3 in Individual Support or higher
  • Experience working with people with disabilities
  • A strong understanding of the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and its guidelines
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Access to ongoing training and development opportunities
