About You

We seek reliable, committed, and empathetic individuals to provide quality care as a Support Worker. Essential qualities include:

  • A can-do attitude and genuine interest in helping others.
  • Versatile hobbies and interests, such as sewing, arts, gardening, cooking, or scrapbooking.
  • Experience in outdoor pursuits and activities.
  • A practical understanding of hygiene assistance and commitment to care.
  • Enjoyment in social activities and one-on-one engagement.
  • Understanding of physical limitations and a safe approach.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm, sensitivity, and emotional stability.
  • Strong communication and organisational skills.
  • Commitment to providing responsive and considerate care.
  • Prioritise punctuality and reliability.
  • Prioritise individual, family, and guardian needs.
  • Flexible and adaptive communication skills.
Required Skills and Qualifications

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, Disability, Community Services or equivalent.
- Physically capable of meeting the requirements of the role.
- Current First aid Certificate.
- Valid NDIS screening check clearance.
- National Driver License and registered vehicle.
- Experience in working with participants having epilepsy.
- Fluency in English is mandatory.
- Relevant visa or working rights in Australia.
- At least one year of experience supporting people with disabilities.
