**Full Job Description**
Our role as an NDIS support worker is to assist people with disabilities in their daily lives.
To access services and supports to help achieve goals and improve quality of life.
We are seeking mature aged applicants that are reliable, looking for approximately 4 - 5 hour shifts during the day initially, up to 2 shifts a week, with a option to increase hours once you have built report and established yourself with our company.
Experience of working with children with autism, non-verbal, ABI's, mental health and physical mobility will be highly regarded.
You duties may include:
Domestic inclusion: Helping with household tasks such as cleaning, cooking and laundry.
Community access: Supporting individuals to participate in community activities such as social outings, shopping, and attending appointments.
Behavioural support: Providing support and strategies to manage behaviours.
Emotional support: Providing emotional support and guidance to individuals with disabilities and their families.
Health and well being: Monitoring and assisting with the management of health and well being needs such as medication management, exercise, and nutrition.
As an NDIS disability support worker, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities, their families, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualised care plans that meet their specific needs and goals. You will also need to maintain accurate records of care provided.
