Job Description

Lead a team to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and client requirements while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Oversee quality assurance and quality control activities for electrical installations, testing, and commissioning.
  • Develop and implement Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), quality documentation, and check sheets in alignment with contract requirements.
  • Ensure accurate tracking of work progress, punch lists, and handover documentation through completions systems.
  • Conduct quality audits, inspections, and reviews to verify compliance with design, codes, and standards.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship on quality standards and best practices.
  • Liaise with clients, third-party inspectors, and internal stakeholders to resolve quality issues.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Electrical Trade or Engineering qualification (Degree or Diploma preferred).
  • 5+ years' experience in QA/QC roles within HV/LV electrical projects - substations, switchyards, transmission/distribution networks, or heavy industrial sectors.
  • Sound understanding of electrical testing, commissioning, and completions processes.
  • Proven knowledge of Australian electrical standards (AS/NZS) and statutory requirements.
  • Demonstrated experience using electronic completions and document management systems.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and resolve quality issues.
  • Good analytical, reporting, and documentation skills.
