**About your role**
In this role, you will be working with the Quality team and internal stakeholders to partner with our suppliers of ingredients, materials, packaging and finished goods and various service providers to provide trusted and consistent products for our customers and reduce quality risks through risk assessment, audit and compliance activities.
As part of our global strategy for our Quality team, the Vendor Assurance Coordinator will ensure best practice approach of compliance and assurance through a Vendor Assurance framework for continous improvement by maintaining consistency and supporting reliable data management and outcomes across vendors.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Coordinate and govern compliance to the Vendor Audit Schedule
- Coordinate and provide compliance reporting for the Vendor Quality Assurance function
- Carry out analysis and reporting to evaluate the effectiveness of existing program
- Coordinate vendor audits with vendors and internal auditors
- Ensure documentation compliance for the Vendor Quality Assurance function
- Undertake vendor performance monitoring activities
- Assist with Vendor Risk Profiling/classification activities where required
- Follow-up, monitoring and close-out of vendor non-conformances
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis investigations as applicable
- Undertake Vendor Assessment activities as required
- Support and maintain performance and relationships with vendors
**Who are we looking for?**
- Tertiary qualified in Science, Engineering, Food Safety or related field
- Ability to collaborate and partner with internal and external stakeholders at all levels, keeping them abreast of updates as necesary
- Good verbal and written communication skills and ability to build strong working relationships
- Proven experience of working in a high-risk environment with attention to detail
- Knowledge of risks across numerous product categories (eg. Food, Pharma, Feed, Chemical) would be advantageous
- Ability to work autonomously, proactively and take initiative
- You may have 2-3 years (minimum) of experience since graduating and are looking to continue your career in the Quality field
