Stakeholder Engagement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Stakeholder Engagement Advisor to join our team at the Victorian Government. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in facilitating stakeholder participation in our decision-making processes, ensuring that our policies and programs are informed by the needs and perspectives of our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement effective stakeholder engagement strategies to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community groups, industry associations, and government agencies.
- Facilitate stakeholder participation in our decision-making processes, including the development of engagement plans, stakeholder surveys, and community consultations.
- Work with our Strategic Communications team to develop and implement communication plans to engage stakeholders and promote our policies and programs.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including community leaders, industry representatives, and government officials.
- Provide advice and support to our Executive Leadership Team on stakeholder engagement and community relations.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field, such as public policy, community development, or communications.
- Proven experience in stakeholder engagement, community relations, or public policy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high level of autonomy and flexibility.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and strategically.
