The Role

A Family Support Specialist will provide comprehensive support services to families and their children, empowering them to achieve positive change.

  • Assess individual client needs and develop tailored support plans.
  • Deliver intensive home-based support, including assessment, counselling, reunification, education, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery.

This role requires expertise in family preservation and reunification models of practice, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop effective support plans for clients.
  • Provide comprehensive support services to families, including education, training, and therapeutic interventions.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports.
  • PARTicipate in team meetings and contribute to case discussions.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Psychology, Social Work, or Behavioral Science.
  • Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in similar programs.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs.
  • Ability to work within boundaries and possess well-developed task management skills.
