We are seeking a skilled Family Support Specialist to join our Intensive Family Support program. Our mission is to strengthen families and ensure children can live at home safely, free from abuse and neglect.

**About the Role:**

The successful candidate will engage with at-risk families to provide intensive support and help them make positive choices in their parenting. They will conduct initial assessments, develop family plans, and work with clients to overcome risks and increase family functioning.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

- Working closely with child protection services and other community agencies
- Engaging clients using appropriate assessment and risk minimisation processes
- Developing client plans that build on resilience and enable families to overcome risks
- Coordinating with other service providers to deliver comprehensive services

**Requirements:**

A Bachelor Degree in Social Work or Human Services field is required:
- Two years relevant experience (desirable)
- Excellent understanding of child protection issues and client vulnerabilities
- Experience managing complex cases and working with vulnerable populations
- Capacity to engage with diverse communities and individuals
