We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Support Associate to support the delivery of high-quality healthcare services.
About the RoleAs a Medical Support Associate, you will provide essential administrative support to the Medical Imaging team. You will maintain accurate patient records, prepare patients for examinations, and communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the Medical Imaging team, including maintaining accurate patient records and data entry.
- Assist with preparation for medical procedures, including setting up equipment and preparing patients for examinations.
- Support patients and families during medical procedures, providing emotional support and reassurance as needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to infection control protocols and confidentiality requirements.
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare staff to ensure seamless care coordination and delivery.
- Certificate IV in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent work experience.
- Proven interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Computer literacy or a willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Demonstrated understanding of Work Health and Safety legislation and principles.
