Support Specialist

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Support Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals with disabilities to empower them to live independently in their own homes and communities.

  • Job Summary: Provide active support, including developing personal interests, providing personal care, transportation, and coaching independent living skills.
  • Health Support: Administer and document medication, and follow health support plans.
  • Positive Behaviour Support: Manage behaviour triggers and escalation.
  • Safeguarding: Ensure safety of self and the participant, documentation, and reports.

About You

  • Demonstrated motivation to work with people with disability.
  • Able to fulfill a rotating roster including weekends and overnights.
  • NDIS Worker Check.
  • Working with Children Check.
  • National Police Check.
  • Full unrestricted Australian Driver's license.
  • First aid and CPR certificate.
