This role offers an opportunity to work collaboratively with a care team approach, including guidance from professionals, and to build strong relationships with clients. If you are passionate about supporting people with disabilities to live great lives, we encourage you to apply.
The ideal candidate will have:
- Good Judgement and Common Sense, with excellent listening skills and a willingness to learn and adapt to changing situations
- Experience Supporting People with Physical Disability, including manual handling and relevant skills such as PEG feeding, catheter care and bowel care
- Great Patience and Empathy to build rapport with clients and their families
- Enthusiasm and Passion for supporting people with disabilities to live fulfilling lives
- Commitment to Teamwork and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve common goals
Additional Requirements
- Fully Licensed Driver with a valid driver's license and a comfortable driving record
