Compliance Officer Job Description

Job Summary:

  • We are seeking a qualified Compliance Officer to manage our compliance obligations and ensure regulatory requirements are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor government regulations and contractual requirements.
  • Support campuses on compliance and quality matters.
  • Prepare for external audits.
  • Implement control systems for improvement measures.
  • Conduct risk assessment evaluations and implement actions to maintain compliance.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience managing compliance functions.
  • Knowledge of the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF) and RTO standards.
  • Cert 4 in Training and Assessment.
  • Diploma in Quality Auditing (desirable).
  • Experience with ASQA regulatory and state audits.
  • Knowledge of state training authority contractual requirements in WA.
  • Understanding of AVETMISS, Total VET Activity, Quality Indicator, and Competency Completion reporting requirements.
