Compliance Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team in a Compliance Analyst role. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a purpose-led organisation that creates greater value for its members.

The RAC Insurance Risk and Compliance Team supports the business by providing advice and guidance to facilitate informed risk-based decision making. This enables better business and member outcomes and protects our licence to operate.

  • Maintain a deep understanding of regulatory requirements and ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
  • Assist with the design and implementation of effective controls to mitigate risks and prevent regulatory breaches.
  • Review and monitor adherence to the Compliance Management Framework, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes as necessary.
  • Conduct regular assurance reviews and deep dives of key compliance procedures to ensure ongoing effectiveness.
  • Analyse incident data insights to inform the development of high-quality training content and identify areas for improvement.
  • Review and update knowledge centre articles related to compliance obligations to ensure accuracy and alignment with training and quality assurance activities.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on remedial and rectification actions to support business operations.
  • Support the business in implementing process changes, ensuring compliance and mitigating risks.

About You:

  • You will have a strong commitment to putting our members at the heart of everything you do.
  • You have a proven track record of working in a risk role within the Insurance or Financial services industry, with experience in compliance framework management, assessments, and reporting.
  • You have excellent analytical skills, with the ability to see complexities of procedures and regulations and present practical solutions.
  • You have strong conceptual, analytical, interpretive, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to consider the critical business needs.
  • You have the ability to build and maintain productive relationships and communicate clearly with senior internal stakeholders.
