  • Troubleshooting: Perform troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and repairs on mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.">
  • Optimization: Carry out adjustments and changeovers to optimise machine performance.">
  • Programming and Configuration: Work with PLC and HMI systems for programming, configuration, and debugging.">
  • Customer Support: Assist customers with machine operation, set-up, and debugging during commissioning and training.">
  • Predictive Maintenance: Conduct preventative maintenance and ensure equipment reliability.">
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate service records, job reports, and customer feedback.">
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with the service and sales teams to provide technical support and solutions.">

Requirements:

  • Trade Qualification: Trade qualification in electrical, mechanical, mechatronics, or similar (or equivalent hands-on experience).">
  • PLC and HMI Experience: Experience with PLC and HMI systems (Siemens, Allen Bradley, or similar).">
  • Troubleshooting Skills: Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.">
  • Familiarity with Industrial Automation: Familiarity with industrial automation, packaging, or food processing equipment (desirable).">
  • Technical Knowledge: Ability to read technical drawings, schematics, and manuals.">
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills and customer service focus.">
  • Adaptability: Willingness to learn and work across a variety of machines.">
  • Driver's Licence: Current driver's licence and ability to travel to customer sites.">
