About Our Maintenance Role:

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to coordinate machine-related operations in manufacturing and supporting infrastructure.

This role involves routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and advanced-level machine settings to ensure efficiency and uphold safety, quality, and environmental standards.

Key responsibilities include liaising with relevant individuals to ensure required machines are available and in acceptable condition, installing and commissioning new machines, working with the production team to complete technical aspects of machine setting, training Manufacturing Technicians in agreed skills, and planning and coordinating machine maintenance and machine setting activities to meet production targets.

Requirements:

  • Mechanical trade qualifications.
  • Restricted electrical licence (desirable).
  • Working at heights certificate (desirable).
  • Confined space certificate (desirable).
  • Forklift licence (desirable).

Experience:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in maintenance and machine setting, preferably in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment.
  • Experience of machines in production processes.
  • Experience in managing situations with tight quality and efficiency parameters.
  • Experience with machine installation & commissioning.
  • Experience with mechanical fault finding.
  • Experience with machining, welding, fabrication.
  • Basic use of Microsoft Office packages.
