Electrical Installation Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Installation Specialist to join our team based in Garden Island NSW. As a key member of the Above Water Systems team, you will carry out electrical work including preventative maintenance, reactive maintenance and new installations as required, both onboard naval and commercial vessels and in the Electrical workshop.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Utilize proper safety protocols when operating battery, electric and pneumatic power tools and workshop machines.
  • Collaborate with assigned teams to provide support on various tasks.
  • Install cable systems onboard naval and commercial vessels.
  • Terminate fixed wiring onboard naval and commercial vessels.
  • Design and install cable support systems onboard naval and commercial vessels.
  • Perform soft soldering for terminations within panels, junction boxes etc.
Requirements:

Australian recognized Electrical Trade Certificate, current Induction for Construction Work (White Card), and current Qualified Supervisor Certificate (Electrical Licence) are mandatory. You must also be capable of working in a multi-cultural, multi-trade environment, familiar with confined space and working at heights requirements.
