Job Role:

Machine Installation and Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a skilled Machine Installation and Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of machinery.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Installation of machinery
  • Execute modifications and upgrades of existing machines
  • Perform machine inspections
  • Maintenance and repairs of machinery
  • Providing customer support
  • Assist with commissioning new machine builds to customer requirements

Requirements:

  • Experience with PLC programming is highly advantageous as is background in the packaging industry with experience supporting high-speed production machinery
  • A minimum of 3-5 years' experience in a relevant service engineering position
  • Possession of a restricted electrical licence (disconnect/reconnect minimum) or ability to obtain one
  • Excellent communication skills for assisting customers with technical issues over the phone
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
  • Demonstrated customer focus and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
  • Current driver's licence is essential, with frequent travel locally, interstate, and internationally required
