Job Title:

Paper Decor Installation Specialist.

Role Overview:

A skilled Paper Decor Installation Specialist is required to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience in paper decoration installation and wallpaper hanging.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Apply strips or sections of paper on surfaces, aligning section edges and patterns to achieve a seamless finish.
  • Inspect finished wallcoverings for proper alignment, pattern matching, and neatness of seams to ensure high-quality results.
  • Clean and prepare surfaces by removing paint, varnish, dirt, and grease using various cleaning solutions.
  • Set up equipment such as pasteboards and scaffolds to facilitate efficient installation.
  • Straighten strips or sections of paper with brushes or rollers to remove wrinkles and bubbles and to smooth joints.
  • Remove old paper, using water, steam machines, or solvents and scrapers, to create a smooth surface for new installations.
  • Maintain exceptional preparation of areas prior to commencing installation to prevent delays and ensure quality work.
  • Exercise attention to detail when using drop sheets and cleaning equipment to maintain a safe and organized workspace.
  • Repair holes, cracks, and other imperfections prior to installation to ensure a smooth finish.
  • Remove existing paint and wallpaper prior to installation to restore the surface to its original state.
  • Familiarize yourself with safety protocols when using ladders and scaffolding to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
