Job Overview

This Occupational Therapist role is part of our dynamic Primary Health Care Team. You will provide assessment and treatment services to people in rural and remote locations, with a focus on culturally diverse populations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and implement interventions in collaboration with clients, carers, and other healthcare professionals.
  • Provide evidence-based clinical and consultative services across various settings, including aged care, remote stations, and Indigenous communities.
  • Manage a diverse caseload, prioritizing effective assessment, timely referrals, coordinated care, and prompt follow-up.
  • Develop partnerships with community service providers and support participatory approaches to service development and evaluation.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist with three years' postgraduate experience in adult and pediatric clinical management. You should possess excellent communication skills, high-level documentation abilities, and a strong understanding of occupational performance factors.
