Occupational Therapist

We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Central Early Childhood and Family Services. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to children aged 0-4 years, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About the OpportunityThis is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to make a real difference in the lives of young children and their families. You will be based in North Adelaide and work closely with a dedicated team to provide high-quality services to our clients.
The key responsibilities of this role include:
- Providing accurate assessments and evaluations of clients using standardised and informal assessment tools.
- Prioritising and organising a complex caseload under limited direction.
- Interpreting assessment results to form an accurate understanding of the issues arising for the child and their family.
- Participating in a multi-disciplinary team to plan, identify, and address quality client management programs.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a complex and varied workload including individual and group work in the early childhood field.
- Knowledge of child development principles.
- Experience working with vulnerable children and their families.
- Knowledge of the social determinants of health and their implications for service delivery.
