We are seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team at the Central Early Childhood and Family Services. The successful candidate will provide occupational therapy services to children aged 0-4 years, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.

About the Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity for an Occupational Therapist to make a real difference in the lives of young children and their families. You will be based in North Adelaide and work closely with a dedicated team to provide high-quality services to our clients.

The key responsibilities of this role include:

  • Providing accurate assessments and evaluations of clients using standardised and informal assessment tools.
  • Prioritising and organising a complex caseload under limited direction.
  • Interpreting assessment results to form an accurate understanding of the issues arising for the child and their family.
  • Participating in a multi-disciplinary team to plan, identify, and address quality client management programs.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • An appropriate degree or equivalent qualification, which entitles registration as an Occupational Therapist with the Occupational Therapy Board of Australia.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a complex and varied workload including individual and group work in the early childhood field.
  • Knowledge of child development principles.
  • Experience working with vulnerable children and their families.
  • Knowledge of the social determinants of health and their implications for service delivery.
