Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team in the community setting. The successful candidate will provide clinical and therapeutic interventions that support positive health and wellbeing outcomes for our participants and consumers.

About the Role

In this rewarding role, you will:

  • Provide comprehensive assessments and recommendations to promote independence and participation in daily activities
  • Design and implement impactful therapy plans using evidence-based tools to support participants in achieving their goals
  • Build and maintain relationships with participants, families, and support teams to ensure optimal care
  • Educate clients and caregivers on health topics such as fall prevention and stress management
Key Responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Providing clinical and therapeutic interventions in both Disability and Community settings
  • Completing assessments and recommendations to support independence and participation
  • Designing therapy plans using evidence-based tools
  • Undertaking home modification assessments and reviews
  • Building and maintaining relationships with participants and support teams

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor of Occupational Therapy degree
  • Current AHPRA registration
  • Australian working rights
  • COVID and current flu vaccinations
  • Medicare Provider Number
  • Willingness to obtain NDIS workers screening and National Police Check
