Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled HR professional to join our team as a Graduate Human Resources Officer.

This is an excellent chance for a recent graduate or someone looking to kick start their career in human resources to gain valuable experience and skills in a supportive environment.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Assist with the administration of HR and Payroll activities throughout the employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, engagement, remuneration & benefits, payroll, performance, training & development, succession planning, and separation.
  • Contribute to the development and maintenance of registers, HRMS systems, policies, and procedures.
  • Provide guidance on the interpretation of Awards, Enterprise Agreements, relevant legislation, and industry best practice.
  • Support HR and Payroll related queries as required.
  • Maintain stakeholder relationships.
Requirements:
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a similar discipline.
  • Excellent safety record and knowledge of Occupational Health & Safety.
  • National Police Clearance.
  • High attention to detail.
  • C Class Driver's Licence.
  • Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work independently using initiative and within a cohesive team environment.
  • Good judgment and flexibility.
  • Effective prioritization and management of competing priorities.
  • Willingness and ability to assist various stakeholders at all levels.
Desirable Skills:
  • Experience in the utilities, resources, or construction industries.
  • Knowledge of company processes and policies.
  • Awareness of relevant legislative, governance, and compliance requirements.
