As a skilled diesel engine technician, you will be responsible for performing routine engine inspections and maintenance tasks to ensure optimal performance.
The ideal candidate should have a strong background in electrical, mechanical, or power engineering with at least 2-3 years of relevant experience in diesel engine repairs and overhaul.
You will be expected to troubleshoot, repair, and perform engine overhauls onboard vessels or oil rigs as well as test, measure, and adjust engine systems.
Additionally, you will be required to maintain accurate service records and prepare technical reports ensuring compliance with workplace safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct regular engine inspections and maintenance tasks
- Troubleshoot and repair complex diesel engine issues
- Perform engine overhauls and modifications
- Test, measure, and adjust engine systems
- Maintain accurate service records and prepare technical reports
- Diploma or certificate in electrical, mechanical, or power engineering or related field
- At least 2-3 years of relevant experience in diesel engine repairs and overhaul
- Strong troubleshooting skills and technical knowledge of power generation and distribution systems
- Physical fitness to work in various environments including on-site locations and outdoor settings
- Certification in electrical safety and power systems maintenance is highly desirable
- Singaporean or Singapore permanent resident status
