As a Manufacturing Professional, you will be part of a dynamic team responsible for producing high-quality products. This role involves working closely with various departments to ensure efficient production processes, quality control, and safety protocols.

About the Opportunity:

This position is available on our Hunter Class Frigate Program in Maritime Australia. You will receive comprehensive training in manufacturing, covering production processes, quality control, safety protocols, and resource utilisation.

Key Responsibilities:

- Participate in safety briefings, audits, and inspections to discuss related manufacturing processes.

- Engage in cross-functional meetings with departments to understand their roles in manufacturing.

- Contribute to enhancing manufacturing efficiency through systems, procedures, and controls.

- Inspect raw materials and finished products for quality standards.

- Assist in conducting quality tests and measurements, documenting and reporting.

- Manage inventory levels and stock control.

- Learn to interpret production schedules and plan material requirements.

- Assist in production planning and end-to-end process systems.

- Understand material and resource management software.

- Collaborate with design and engineering teams to understand product specifications.

- Develop, review, and interpret engineering drawings and designs in 3D modelling tools.

- Work with manufacturing engineers to optimise production processes.
