Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Quality Assurance Specialist to ensure the excellence of our products.

The successful candidate will be responsible for risk assessments, microbiological testing, and chemical analysis. They will also contribute to the development of new laboratory test methods and provide high-quality results to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Risk assessments of all new materials with regards to occupational health and manual handling by participating in RA sessions.
  • Microbiological risk assessments on new Raw materials and determine sampling frequencies with the QAE Team members.
  • Ordering of chemicals and equipment for quality testing
  • Calibrations of quality instruments
  • Chemical testing of raw materials, finished products and complaint samples
  • Release raw material in SAP
  • Release of finished products in SAP

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Chemistry from University or Technical College.
  • Experience working in Quality and/or in Analytical laboratory.
  • Good communications and organisational skills, written and verbal
  • Working knowledge of quality systems (depending on experience)
