Ensuring Product Excellence as a Quality Control Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Quality Control Specialist to join our production team in Sydney. As a leading company in cutting-edge technology, we offer an exciting opportunity to work with innovative products and make a real impact.

This role will play a crucial part in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance. You will work closely with our Production Team, Operations Team, and Procurement Team to guarantee consistency in quality and performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct incoming quality checks according to established criteria
  • Review supplier quality reports
  • Record IQC results in the ERP system
  • Move failed parts to quarantine area physically and in the ERP system
  • Raise quality alerts/NCRs for failed parts
  • Conduct outgoing quality checks on our products
  • Report issues identified at incoming and outgoing QC to the Quality Manager/QA Officer
Requirements
  • Experience in a production environment
  • Experience with inspection equipment/CMM required
  • Experience with Odoo or similar ERP system preferred but not necessary
  • Passionate about technology and able to understand complex technical problems
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a fast-paced team
  • Strong ability to multi-task, meet deadlines, and handle pressure
