Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, youth and family therapy to repair and strengthen family relationships and individual self-determination.
  • Collaborate with other professionals to provide family therapy using a multi-disciplinary approach.
  • Offer child consultation as part of child inclusive practice to families after separation and divorce.
  • Develop, facilitate and promote clinical group work programs within the centre and with external stakeholders.

As a Child and Family Therapist, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and experience in a supportive environment. You will be part of a team that values collaboration and continuous improvement.

About You
  • A tertiary qualification in psychology, social work or a relevant field is essential.
  • At least 3 years' experience delivering individual, youth, family and couples therapy, as well as facilitating group programs.
  • Proven ability to manage complex cases involving high conflict individuals, youth and families.
  • Competence in working with issues of family violence and understanding of child protection principles.
  • Excellent communication, organisational and report writing skills.
  • Ability to work independently and contribute to the smooth functioning of a team.
