POSITION OVERVIEW

We are in search of a Health and Safety Consultant (FIFO site-based) to support Aerison's health and safety initiatives in the field, ensuring the utmost safety standards for our personnel on site. This role is initially a casual contract with the potential for full-time employment.

  • Assist with daily Health and Safety operations on site.
  • Facilitate toolbox talks, pre-start meetings, and conduct daily safety inspections.
  • Collaborate with site management to develop Risk and Hazard registers.
  • Conduct or oversee Health and Safety audits on site.
  • Deliver site inductions and training sessions.
  • Investigate hazards, near misses, and incident reports while managing risks.
  • Provide training on Safety Management Systems and site-specific safety protocols.
  • Communicate Health and Safety issues to QHSE Management and site personnel.

IDEAL CANDIDATE PROFILE:

  • Proven experience in conducting safety investigations.
  • Thorough understanding of OHS and Mining Regulations.
  • Background in Incident Investigation and Risk Management.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to engage with all levels of staff and management, including clients.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

  • At least 2 years of experience in maintenance, construction, or a related field.
  • Possession of a minimum Certificate IV in OH&S or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid C Class Driver's Licence.
