We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Health and Safety Specialist to join our team at Plummers Project Services. As a key member of our project and shutdown teams, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the maintenance and effectiveness of our site's Safety and Health Management System.
Key Responsibilities- Manage HSE Aspects: Oversee all health, safety, and environmental aspects on the project site, including reporting and administration.
- Maintain HSE System: Assist with the maintenance and execution of our ISO14001 and ISO45001 certified HSE system at a site and operational level.
- Develop HSE Documentation: Participate in the development and review of HSE documentation, including procedures, safe work instructions, and risk assessments.
- Conduct Inspections and Audits: Conduct inspections/audits of company sites and processes as per the audit schedule, and report on their outcomes.
- Collect and Report HSE Data: Collate, track, and report relevant HSE data and statistics.
- Investigate Incidents: Take an active role in incident investigations, including the collection of evidence, statements, timelines, and other data.
- Communicate with Site Personnel: Communicate and consult with site personnel by delivering information such as HSE policies, procedures, hazard alerts, and other relevant information.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in a FIFO HSE role.
- Qualifications: Tertiary qualification in Health, Safety, and/or Environmental (Cert IV OH&S or above).
- Certifications: Construction White Card, Valid Driver's Licence, Cert IV in Training and Assessing (preferred), Incident Investigation Training (ICAM preferred), Auditing Training (preferred).
