We are seeking an experienced Health and Safety Advisor to join our team at Jobfit Health Group. As a Health and Safety Advisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the health and safety of our clients and their employees.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site visits to identify and assess potential hazards and risks
- Develop and implement effective health and safety strategies and procedures
- Provide training and guidance to employees on health and safety protocols
- Investigate incidents and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with clients and stakeholders to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or a related field
- 2-3+ years of experience in OHS in the mining industry
- Proven experience in ICAM Investigation/Tap Root methodologies
- Strong commitment to precision in report writing
- Current First Aid and CPR certification
- Valid National Police Clearance issued within the last 12 months
- Thorough understanding of local legislation, legal compliance, and risk management principles
- Auditing Qualification - highly desirable
