Key Role: Commercial Finance Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled commercial finance professional to lead our financial function, providing strategic and financial advice to ensure sound decision making.

This key role will build strong partnerships with senior leaders across various teams, reporting into the GM Finance to deliver the organisation's finance strategy. Key responsibilities include leadership of direct reports, partnering with brands' Managing Directors to drive growth initiatives, providing critical financial analysis for decision making, reviewing and signing off monthly results, evaluating business opportunities, pricing strategies and investment decisions using financial modelling, ROI and scenario analysis, coordinating and preparing annual & season capex budget, providing direction & instructions for budget timetable and department budgeting, and effective management of daily operations.

Essential Skills:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Accounting or Commerce
  • CPA or CA accredited
  • Leadership experience
  • Extensive experience in Retail accounting or similar environment
  • Strong stakeholder management and business partnering experience
  • Analytical and commercial mindset
  • Influencing and conflict resolution skills
  • Advanced Excel skills
