Job Title

Senior Financial Accountant

About the Role

The Senior Financial Accountant will be responsible for preparing and reviewing financial reports, ensuring accuracy of month-end and year-end closing processes, overseeing tax compliance, providing detailed analysis and insights, managing relationships with external auditors, implementing robust financial controls and policies, and supporting budgeting and forecasting processes.

  • Prepare and review financial reports in compliance with relevant accounting standards.
  • Ensure the accuracy of month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Oversee tax compliance, including GST, FBT, and income tax obligations.
  • Provide detailed analysis and insights to support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage relationships with external auditors and other stakeholders.
  • Implement and maintain robust financial controls and policies.
  • Support the budgeting and forecasting processes as required.
Requirements
  • CA/CPA qualification (or relevant and equivalent qualification)
  • Experience in a similar role
  • Great presentation and communication skills
  • Ability to commence asap/immediately
  • Background in audit or business services is ideal
