We are seeking a strategic and innovative leader to join our team as the Head of Operations for the Australia Telescope National Facility (ATNF).
Key Responsibilities- Lead the operational excellence of the ATNF telescopes and associated activities, including visitor centers and accommodation.
- Collaborate with the ATNF leadership team to strategically deploy personnel and coordinate staff deployment across projects and operations.
- Develop initiatives that promote a vibrant and supportive workplace, ensuring safety and sustainability are prioritized.
- Work closely with internal and external stakeholders, including the Pawsey Supercomputing Centre and the CSIRO IT team, to build strong partnerships.
The ATNF is part of CSIRO's Space and Astronomy research unit, and we aim to enable humanity to understand our Earth and Universe. Our team is passionate about delivering transformative, positive impacts through science and technology.
What We Offer- An attractive salary package plus 15.4% superannuation.
- A specified term of five years with the possibility of an underlying indefinite research appointment.
