Head of Programmatic Strategy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head of Programmatic to join our team at the Australian Radio Network. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the development and execution of programmatic advertising across all digital platforms.
Key Responsibilities- Define and continuously evolve the company's programmatic strategy, ensuring alignment with broader business goals.
- Communicate programmatic initiatives and performance metrics to senior leadership, providing clear insight into revenue contribution and growth opportunities.
- Develop and maintain key relationships with agency and client programmatic trading teams, unlocking revenue opportunities within agencies and key clients.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing programmatic team, fostering a culture of excellence and accountability.
- Collaborate with sales, product, data, and operations teams to ensure programmatic is embedded into every aspect of the digital business.
- Establish and promote programmatic best practices across the organisation, ensuring high standards in areas like targeting, optimisation, and measurement.
- Leverage first-party data, audience insights, and advanced analytics to inform strategic initiatives.
- 8+ years of experience in digital advertising, with at least 4 years in a programmatic leadership role.
- Proven track record of driving revenue growth through programmatic channels.
- Experience with digital audio, radio or streaming media is advantageous.
- Demonstrates strong leadership qualities, inspiring and empowering the programmatic team to achieve high levels of performance.
- Capable of developing long-term strategies that align programmatic with the company's overall growth trajectory.
- Identifies opportunities in a rapidly changing market and translates them into actionable initiatives.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and translate them into strategic recommendations.
- Experience in developing data-driven approaches to programmatic buying and optimization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate programmatic strategies and performance metrics to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
