Data Center Technician Lead

CBRE, a global leader in commercial real estate services, is seeking a highly skilled Data Center Technician Lead to join our team in Melbourne. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our data center facilities and providing exceptional customer service to our clients.
SalaryThe estimated salary range for this position is $120,000 - $150,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Job DescriptionWe are looking for a motivated and organized individual with strong technical skills to lead our data center operations team. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all maintenance activities are carried out efficiently and effectively, with due regard to Health and Safety, business risk, and maintaining 100% uptime criteria. You will also be responsible for monitoring BMS systems, performing routine planned preventative maintenance tasks, investigating faults, and preparing accurate and timely service reports.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead the data center operations team to ensure seamless facility operations
- Monitor BMS systems for running and alarm conditions
- Perform routine planned preventative maintenance tasks as required
- Investigate faults, identify root causes, and effect remedies
- Prepare accurate and timely service reports
To be successful in this role, you will need:
A strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems used in data centersExperience in maintenance scheduling and subcontractor management and supervisionStrong knowledge of ticketing or workflow management systems and toolsExperience in managing escalation and emergency issuesNegotiation skills to manage client expectationsBenefitsWe offer a competitive salary package, including:
