About the Opportunity:

This palliative care position provides an ideal setting for advanced trainees to develop their skills in a multidisciplinary team environment.

Supervision and education by experienced consultants and skilled healthcare professionals will contribute to a valuable learning experience.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Triage, assessment and consultative management of referrals
  • Collaboration with Palliative Care Clinical Nurse Consultants
  • Participation in weekend roster at a regional health service

Requirements:

  • Completion of Basic Physician Training or GP registration with appropriate clinical experience
  • Registration with the Victorian Palliative Medicine Training Program

  • Current registration with AHPRA
  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Commitment to high-quality patient care and teaching
