About the Role:

We're seeking an experienced MICE Business Growth Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our sales and marketing team, you'll be responsible for driving business development and managing key accounts within the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Events (MICE) sector.

Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the MICE sector to drive impactful revenue growth.
  • Manage Key Accounts: Foster strong relationships with high-value MICE clients, generating premium leads and securing top-tier business for our Conference & Events spaces.
  • Leverage Relationships: Utilize your deep understanding of the Australian landscape and existing relationships with Professional Conference Organizers (PCOs) to ensure Pullman & Mercure continues to thrive as industry leaders.
  • Explore New Sales Channels: Take the initiative to explore creative sales and marketing channels, maximizing the value of third-party listings and partnerships the hotel already holds.
  • Deliver Innovative Event Solutions: Work closely with internal teams to deliver seamless, innovative event solutions that align with Pullman's ethos of energy, performance, and excellence.

  • Exceptional Relationship-Building Skills: Build and maintain strong relationships with high-profile MICE clients.
  • Negotiation and Closing Skills: Masterful negotiation and closing skills, with a demonstrated ability to drive revenue growth.
  • Strategic Planning: Proficient in strategic planning and implementing business initiatives tailored to our reputable C&E spaces.
  • Communication and Presentation: Outstanding communication and presentation abilities, with a refined and polished demeanor.
  • Market Analysis: Strong analytical skills to assess market trends and identify business opportunities.

Salary Range: AU$80,000 - AU$120,000 per annum, depending on experience.
