Underground Diamond Driller Assistant Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a entry-level underground diamond driller's assistant.
We are seeking motivated and physically fit individuals to assist in the underground diamond drilling operations located in New South Wales.
Key Responsibilities- Handling inner tubes by retrieving core and emptying into core trays.
- Heavy lifting of over 20kgs on a repetitive basis.
- Maintaining a clean and safe working environment, including washing the LV at the end of each shift.
- Identifying and rectifying potential hazards, with immediate communication to the Driller or Supervisor.
- Australian driver's license, current and manual.
- National police clearance, within three months of issue.
- Clear ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English.
- Safety attitude, proactive and positive towards hazard identification.
- Shift work capability, with two weeks away from home at a time.
- Mechanical skills, mechanically minded and excellent problem-solving abilities.
- Medical clearance, pre-employment medical including drug & alcohol screen.
- Work ethic, positive and aligned with Barminco's vision and principles.
- Assessment centre availability for selection process.
- Opportunity to gain experience in a labour-intensive, physical role.

- Working at heights certificate advantageous.
- First aid certificate advantageous.
