The Opportunity

We are seeking entry-level candidates for Underground Diamond Driller's Assistants at our operations in West Wylong, New South Wales.

  • As an assistant, you will be responsible for handling inner tubes to retrieve core and empty into core trays.
  • You will perform repetitive heavy lifting of over 20kg and maintain housekeeping and equipment.
  • Identify potential hazards and communicate them to the Driller or Supervisor immediately.

To succeed in this role, you must possess a current Australian manual driver's license, National Police Clearance, and fluent English language skills.

A proactive attitude towards safety and hazard identification, as well as excellent problem-solving skills, are essential for this position.

Highly desirable qualifications include Working at Heights Certificate, First Aid Certificate, and previous experience in labour-intensive physical roles or assisting exploration drilling operations.
