Exciting Opportunity for Underground Diamond Drilling Career

We are seeking an Entry-Level Underground Diamond Driller's Assistant to support our drilling operations and contribute to the success of our projects.


The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting experienced drillers, handling inner tubes, retrieving core, and maintaining housekeeping and equipment cleanliness.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Handling and emptying inner tubes into core trays
  • Performing repetitive heavy lifting of over 20kgs
  • Maintaining high standards of housekeeping and ensuring all equipment is clean and well-maintained
  • Identifying potential hazards and communicating with the Driller or Supervisor

Requirements:
  • A current Australian manual driver's license
  • A National Police Clearance issued within three months
  • Clear ability to speak, read, and write in fluent English
  • A proactive attitude towards safety and hazard identification
  • Ability to perform shift work and be away from home for extended periods
  • Mechanically minded and excellent problem-solving skills

Desirable Qualifications:
  • A Working at Heights Certificate
  • A First Aid Certificate
  • Previous experience in physically demanding roles
  • Previous experience assisting exploration drilling operations
