Support Worker Role

About the Position:

This support worker role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about delivering high-quality care to people with disabilities.

As a support worker, you will play a vital role in supporting our clients to achieve their goals and improve their overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personal care and support to individuals with disabilities
  • Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, and meal preparation
  • Support clients with mobility issues using hoisting equipment and techniques
  • Collaborate with other support staff to ensure seamless client care
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in the disability sector (preferably with personal care and hoisting/transitioning)
  • Australian Driver's License and a roadworthy vehicle
  • Current Working with Children Clearance, First Aid/CPR Certificate
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
  • Flexibility to work varying shifts, including mornings, afternoons, evenings, overnights, and rotating rosters
