Nelson Park School is a specialist setting dedicated to promoting educational excellence and quality partnerships with families and the community.

We are seeking an experienced Educational Support Assistant to work with teachers and students. The successful candidate will assist in delivering programs and services, ensuring a supportive environment that fosters growth and achievement.

**Key Responsibilities Include:**

Providing individualized support to students with varying learning needs, including those with mild intellectual disabilities.

Assisting teachers in preparing and delivering educational programs tailored to meet student requirements.

Supervising students during classes, recess, and other activities, promoting a safe and inclusive atmosphere.

Collaborating with teaching staff to develop and implement Individual Learning Plans (ILPs) that cater to each student's needs.

Completing administrative tasks such as data entry and record-keeping, contributing to the school's organizational efficiency.

Participating in Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) to stay up-to-date with best practices in educational support and remain current on industry developments.

Contributing to a positive and inclusive school culture by promoting respect, empathy, and understanding among students, staff, and families.

**Essential Qualifications and Skills:**

Relevant qualifications and experience in educational support or a related field.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, enabling effective collaboration with diverse groups.

Able to work effectively within a team environment, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability when required.
