As a seasoned Family Support Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing the quality and excellence of services across Children, Youth and Family programs.
Expertise is required to provide guidance on complex cases, identify potential risks, and support staff through reflective practice, case reviews, secondary consultations, and training.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and nurture our workforce in supporting children and families.
- Collaborate with leaders to embed therapeutic care across programs.
- Contribute to shaping how care is delivered – making a meaningful difference at scale.
- Extensive experience working with children and young people impacted by complex trauma, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic approaches.
- In-depth knowledge and hands-on expertise across children, youth and family services, from early intervention to foster and kinship care.
- A proven track record in coaching and developing staff, leading reflective practice, facilitating training, and providing case consultations.
- The ability to extract valuable insights from practice data, identify trends, and recommend improvements at individual, team, and system levels.
- A solutions-focused approach, working effectively across teams and disciplines to inform high-quality decision-making.
