
Community Family Violence Advocate

The Victorian Aboriginal Child and Community Agency supports and advocates for the Aboriginal community. The Family Violence Program provides advocacy, referral and support to Aboriginal women and their children who are experiencing family violence.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing casework support to Aboriginal women and their children
- Advocating for clients and ensuring they receive comprehensive support
- Working closely with other agencies to provide a coordinated response to family violence
- Developing and maintaining relationships with local services and stakeholders to enhance service delivery
- Participating in regular meetings and training sessions to stay up-to-date on best practice and policy developments
This is a fixed term opportunity until 2026. We encourage applicants to view the Position Description prior to applying.
