Senior Manager, International Development Lead

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Manager to lead our Business Development and Engagement team at The University of Queensland. As a leader, you will play a key role in securing and growing commercial development projects for our International Development unit. Your responsibilities will include managing a team of staff, contributing to development projects, and identifying new opportunities.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and implement a business development strategy to identify, assess, and manage business development opportunities.
- Lead and manage a team of staff to achieve business development and engagement targets.
- Contribute to the development of sophisticated budgets and financial proposals for commercial development projects.
- Build and maintain relationships with key internal and external stakeholders, including strategic collaboration with the Global Development Hub.
- Provide guidance on business development, engagement, and technical advisory work to the ID team.
We are looking for a highly experienced Senior Manager with a strong background in international development and business development. You will have a proven track record of success in leading teams and managing business development projects. You will also have a strong understanding of donor funding and government aid funding arenas, as well as experience working with Australian Government clients.
