
Sales Capability Builder

The successful candidate will lead the execution of in-market brand activity, championing the company strategy and the development of sales capabilities. This role is responsible for ensuring that the commercial potential of the market is realised and delivered in a sustainable and professional manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, motivate and build individual and team capability within the Sales function to align with the business strategy.
- Deliver and exceed short and longer-term commercial targets as per the latest 5-Year Plan ambitions.
- Focusing the overall sales team on improving the presence of brands at the point of purchase via strong value-added customer relationships, joint business/customer planning, category management principles and specific brand activation and engagement programs.
- Build strong relationships and networks across the local business, third parties and stakeholders.
Essential Skills:
- A seasoned and proven sales leader with a track record of consistently meeting/exceeding targets.
- A values-driven people leader who engages, sets/agrees goals, provides feedback, actively listens and coaches, to build individual and team capability and a high-performance/achievement culture.
- Significant experience of Sales and Commercial principles and disciplines within FMCG/drinks industry, including senior leadership roles.
- Excellent and authentic communication skills - ability to converse with internal and external parties at all levels.
- Experienced and demonstrable understanding of marketing, brands and brand strategies in order to prepare compelling sales/customer and in-market execution plans.
