We are seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Global Business Growth Specialist to join our team at IBISWorld. As a key member of our sales team, you will play a crucial role in driving business growth through prospecting, qualifying, and closing new opportunities.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing subscription-based sales from commencement to contract execution
  • Utilizing a consultative sales approach to identify customer challenges and offer solutions that match IBISWorld's product
  • Building a solid pipeline of 300+ prospects through relationship building and prospecting skills
  • Achieving and exceeding established monthly, quarterly, and annual sales goals
  • Making significant outbound calls and emails daily to engage new and existing accounts
  • Delivering live and web-based presentations and training sessions to prospective clients (occasional interstate travel may be required)

Requirements and Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

  • A strong ability to research categories, identify targets, and network within industry groups
  • Confidence in cold calling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • A basic understanding of selling principles and processes behind consultative selling
  • Organizational skills to ensure effective pipeline management
  • The ability to speak with prospects across various industries and backgrounds
  • An enthusiastic approach to work and a drive to succeed
  • A degree in Business or Marketing related field, and/or some understanding of business and the Australian business scene would be advantageous
  • 3+ years sales experience
