Service Delivery Manager Job Overview

This is a pivotal role that encompasses the management of customer relationships, technical delivery, and contract management. The Service Delivery Manager will be responsible for maintaining strong partnerships with customers, ensuring timely delivery of services, and overseeing the implementation of service improvement plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain customer relationships by acting as a single point of contact for service delivery topics, advocating for the customer within the organization, and regularly meeting with customer stakeholders.
  • Liaise with Technical Team Leads to ensure technical resources are focused appropriately to meet customer expectations.
  • On a need's basis, guide Technical Team Leads and engineers to resolve urgent customer needs.
  • Review and approve monthly invoicing prior to sending to customers.
  • Identify any contractual deliverables that Technical Team Leads may not be delivering and quickly remediate.
Requirements
  • Hold ITIL Foundation (or above) qualification.
  • Previous experience in IT Service (Delivery) Management working with similar technologies and responsibilities.
  • Previous infrastructure and/or consulting experience will be highly regarded.
