Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain impeccable organizational skills to ensure a clean and efficient kitchen operation throughout each service period.
  • Prepare and present food that exceeds guest expectations, upholding the highest standards of culinary excellence.
  • Demonstrate a deep understanding of our discerning travelers' requirements, delivering personalized service excellence with each customer interaction.
  • Collaborate with our enthusiastic team to prepare and execute seamless food and beverage service periods.
  • Ensure adherence to stringent food safety and property standards.
  • Effectively manage and maintain your assigned section of the kitchen.
  • Present food in the correct portions and on suitable receptacles.
About You:
  • Hold a trade industry qualification or completion of a commercial cookery qualification.
  • Exhibit a genuine passion for the industry.
  • Bring relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Hold working rights in Australia.
  • Demonstrate enthusiasm for career advancement.
  • Be self-motivated, driven, and energized in a fast-paced environment.
  • Possess smart solutions and a can-do attitude.
Additional Requirements:
  • Breakfast - Ala carte/ Buffet
  • Restaurant - In room dining, Dinner Ala carte- pans, grill, larder sections
  • 3-4 years of experience in a busy Cafe, Restaurant or Hotel
  • 5-star Hotel experience is a plus
  • Attention to detail and passion for cooking
  • Able to work with minimal supervision
  • Good knowledge in HACCP and food safety
